During the late 50's and 60's the bowling alleys became a popular place for men and women to meet in an equal way, and it still is in a way one of the most equal sports. This Bowling Shoe comes in mixed soft 1950s pastels like baby blue, bubble gum pink and white, black or nature. The model is made with a soft and natural rubber sole.
The Bowling Shoe comes in vegetable-tanned high quality leather with sturdy stitches and laces, made for strikes. It works as a unisex model like it was worn from the beginning. The shoe has a thick sole made of natural rubber, for that soft and comfy feeling. This model will fit a normal ankle and is super easy to pull on and off.
The natural grain leather
The beautiful natural grain leather will soften and stretch with wear, and will fit just perfectly with time. The leather will just look better the more you wear it or if you rub them with olive oil or similar. However please try to use your shoes in dry weather, unless you rub them with olive oil or other treatment. If fully soaked they will stretch a lot but no worries just let them dry naturally. The natural color will become darker with sunshine and over time, or when you rub them with olive oil.
The natural rubber soles
The natural rubber sole is really comfortable to walk on and great as a sole since it's soft and flexible yet with strength and durability. However please note that it is a natural, organic material and as such it can be sensitive to very strong heat, making it sticky and in the long run making it hard and dry. Just like our other natural shoe materials like cork, leather and wood, natural rubber is a living material so please take care of it, dry it slowly, don't expose it to
extreme heat, talk to it and the shoes should last for your grand kids.
