Area Sales Manager Europe / Key Account Manager
 
The Role
As our European Area Sales Manager you will manage all strategic and operational wholesale processes for markets not covered by our sales agents. Developing close relationships with our Key Accounts – the 50 most important clients across the region, you are a key player within our sales team. Reporting to the CEO you will also be instrumental in shaping the future success of the brand.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop our wholesale strategy – research and analyze major markets and retail channels, identifying market potential and well-defined goals and targets.
  • Plan and execute sales activities – pre-sales work and bookings, sales meetings, trade shows, road trips and showroom based sales, order collection, following up deliveries, in-season sales and support. You will be responsible for allocating resources (time & money) across markets and activities, ensuring lead times are optimized and sales are maximized.
  • Build and maintain and lasting client relationships  - With a clear focus on the top Key Accounts in each market, you will assume full ownership of the relationship with our wholesale clients. Ensuring “all boxes are ticked” through a series of planned activities (pre-season budgeting with clients, meeting order deadlines, following up on timely deliveries, securing strong performance in the stores etc) as well as taking advantage of arising opportunities, for instance in season selling, discussing SMU’s or in-store events.
  • Manage information – developing solid systems, procedures and tools for reporting performance as well as managing and acting upon these with relevant actions.
  • Generating Sales – whether presenting at our sales conferences, attending trade shows, doing road trips or carrying out showroom based sales you will be a representative of our brand and our values.
 
 
You are a Hasbeens fan and you share our vision that you can change the World, if you combine a great product with a great message.
 
You are enthusiastic, results driven, excellent at connecting with new faces as well as pragmatic yet confident in your negotiation. You are a strong communicator secure in your abilities and personality. Your command of written and spoken English plus two additional European languages is excellent. You love to be “on the road” as this job requires extensive travel. You have a good understanding of Swedish, although it need not be your first or second language.
 
Your background is from sales within the fashion / footwear industry with considerable international exposure, and 3-6 years experience. A network of premium fashion retailers across Scandinavia and Europe is a merit. You have a good command of Office Software.
