Lace Up boots and other boots where almost exclusively used by army men and workers until the 1830. Around 1850 this changed when boots become more broadly available through improved production techniques. Boots then became a symbol for equality between the sexes and among social groups. This is a plain unisex model that will look great on both guys and girls.
The Swedish alder wooden sole is 2 inches (5 cm) high, ergonomically shaped and really comfortable. The natural color is untreated and will darken when exposed to sunlight. It can be treated with natural olive oil to make it more resistant and to create a great natural dark tone.
The natural grain leather will be harder in the beginning but will soften with use and adapt to your feet. Please bear in mind that natural leather, if fully soaked, will stretch a lot. It will loosen over time, since wood is a natural living material so please check it every now and then and put on some glue if necessary. The wooden sole is sensitive to water. This model will fit a normal or lower ankle and tend to run small in size compared to our super-high shoes. Size 35-45. |
